  • This new punk anthem reminds fans that if they leave early, they might miss the best parts of the life God has prepared for them.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — Christian punk artists Grace Graber and Daniel Spriggs have collaborated on the infectiously alive “My Favorite Part,” a suicide prevention anthem inviting listeners to wait and experience the miraculous grace God has planned for them. The song is available everywhere at https://slinky.to/MyFavoritePart

“My Favorite Part” was originally written by up-and-coming artist Daniel Spriggs, who had been connecting with Grace as a fellow punk artist in the faith-based sphere. He brought the track to Grace with the sense that it was divinely intentioned to be hers.

“Daniel had reached out to me about just picking my brain on what it’s like to be in pop-punk in the Christian music scene,” Grace recalls. “A couple months later, he texts me and asks me, ‘Hey, can I send you a song idea that I have for you? I think it’s supposed to be yours.’”

Grace listened to the demo, finding a nearly complete song Daniel had written (with support of a track provided by Deniss Pridans). She was captivated by his creative vision and capability. The two finished cowriting long-distance, and “My Favorite Part” was born.

“It’s one of those songs that demanded to be a part of this world. And He handed it to me,” Grace shares.

The lyrics for this soaring punk banger are immensely personal for Daniel, who offered the track to Grace as an act of deep trust.

“I grew up in a culture that glorified depression and saw suicide as something almost noble,” Daniel admits. “I came from a high school experience that was very depressive, very self-deprecating. I was living in a depressed mindset. Flash forward to now, playing with my 2-year-old daughter, seeing her laugh, having a family. That’s where I got the line: ‘If you go now, you’ll miss my favorite part.’”

He continues, “‘My Favorite Part’ is what I feel like God would say to younger me. If my life had ended as a teenager, I would’ve missed blessings beyond my comprehension. I want to tell any young person not just that it gets better but that the story God has written for you, the fruition of that story, is going to be so perfect for you.”

It’s an idea that deeply resonates with Grace, who has been open about her lifelong journey with depression, anxiety and PTSD.

“I knew immediately when I heard this song that it was going to save someone’s life,” the singer says frankly. “I was singing my songs on tour to these kids and thinking, ‘Man, if I wouldn’t have stayed, I’d miss this part. I’d miss God’s favorite part of using me.’”

Producer Deniss Pridans rounded out both the track’s production and guitar line. Together, the musicians created a determinedly, tenderly hopeful sound that uses rock riffs and forthright melodies to sweep listeners from their personal lows into the hope of what is to come. The result is a suicide prevention song unlike any that have preceded it. Rather than exploring the sorrow, the song gives substance to optimism grounded in faith.

“I feel like a lot of songs about mental health are about someone’s internal struggle. But this is talking directly to the listeners,” Grace offers earnestly. “If you die tomorrow, if you go? The amount of things you’re going to miss, the amount of things that God hasn’t done in your life yet that He can! I think this song is going to be really impactful because it talks directly to suicide and says, ‘Don’t go.’”

“My Favorite Part” is the first new music following Grace Graber’s debut album The Breakthrough. Sonically, it squarely positions her in the punk rock genre, holding its own musically with influences like Green Day, Fall Out Boy and MGK. The track also follows “HEART2HEART” by Daniel Spriggs, who is firmly establishing himself as a rising voice to listen to.

  • Grace Graber is a new artist for me and Breakthrough is her first album. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first listened to her music. I was pleasantly overjoyed! Her style is punk pop – which I really like. The thing that stood out to me the most about her music is her message. Grace was suicidal, but a Hawk Nelson song saved her. She’s now a mental health advocate. The lyrics in her songs mirror this message. She’s dealt with depression. She knows what it’s like to face the darkness, so I guess that’s why her music is relatable.

Some of the songs that stood out to me were, “SOLO” – it’s my favorite song off the album. I found myself singing along to the words in my car. I love the picture that God can always save us, no matter how deep we get! The other track I like is, “No Regrets”. It’s a fun, jumpy song, one that will make you want to dance. Admittedly, I also found myself belting this out in the car. Hawk Nelson was a guest singer on this track, too, so that’s cool. “Signs,” is another great song, with the lyrics “I’m still breathing, there’s a reason I’m still here. My heart is still beating.” Realizing myself that I’m still here for a reason, heart still beating.

All of the songs on Grace’s album are wonderfully crafted. I think that younger listeners would especially appreciate this music as they can relate to the lyrics. Grace has dealt with depression and anxiety, and that’s a main theme in this album. I still deal with depression and anxiety, myself, so this album spoke to me. I highly recommend it for anyone that likes punk pop, and that has faced these issues. It’s an encouraging album, for sure. After listening to Breakthrough, I look forward to hearing more from Grace Graber.

  • February 28, 2025 –Christian hip-hop artist B-Wade is set to make his official debut with the highly anticipated release of his first single, I’m Thru Runnin’, through Resurrection Records. A deeply personal and powerful track, I’m Thru Runnin’ tells the story of B-Wade’s transformation from a life of struggle to one of redemption in Christ.

B-Wade’s inspiration for the song came during a defining moment in his life while incarcerated in the Department of Corrections. It was there that he encountered God in a way that changed him forever. “The Lord showed me how I had been running the streets and doing work for the devil for way too long,” says B-Wade. “Everything I had done in life was to gratify the flesh instead of bringing glory to my Father. Once He saved me and redeemed me from that lifestyle, the Holy Spirit confirmed that I could not continue that way- I was tired. I was sick and tired. I was thru runnin’. Now, instead of running for the world, I run to my Father, and as hard as I went for the world, I go ten times harder for Jesus Christ.”

Through his raw and heartfelt lyrics, B-Wade hopes listeners will connect with his story and recognize the power of God’s restoration. “My intent is that when people hear my music, they see the brokenness of the world and the power sin has on people’s lives, but through my lyrics and story, they see the Healing power of Jesus Christ,” he explains. “I want this song to reach those who are struggling—whether they are lost in sin or battling as believers—to show them there is hope, deliverance, and freedom in surrendering to Christ.”

One of B-Wade’s favorite lines from the song encapsulates its central message: ‘Run the race til the day I go, if I ain’t runnin’ for the Lord, what I’m runnin’ for?’ He reflects, “I was running the streets, running for the devil. But my running now has a different intent, a different motive. The Bible says in Philippians 3:13-14 that we are to press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. I mention my past only to give glory to God for what He saved me from. Now, I run this race to actively pursue Christ.”

B-Wade believes I’m Thru Runnin’ will resonate deeply with fans and new listeners alike. “Everyone has a past. Everyone is running. But not everyone knows they can stop. This song reminds people that God is big enough to save anyone from anything. He leaves the ninety-nine for the one, and we’ve all been that one. Whether someone is still running, tired of running, or ready to lay down their burdens, I pray this song encourages them to turn around and find that God has been right there, waiting for them the whole time.”

With I’m Thru Runnin’, B-Wade is stepping boldly into his calling, delivering a message of transformation, surrender, and unshakable faith. The single will be available on all major streaming platforms on February 28, 2025.
