I can’t remember if I’ve ever listened to We Are Messengers, but I decided to check out their new EP of “A Thousand Times.” The EP itself has five tracks of the same song called “A Thousand Times.” The first song is a live version of it. The whole song has a worship feeling, with its warm atmosphere. The second song has a Retold Mix with an almost Scottish or Irish theme to it. I enjoyed this unique mix of the same EP song.
The third song of “A Thousand Times” has the group Cochren & Co. It’s an upbeat rendition, and I love the lyrics with, “He’ll never let go, you know that it’s true.” Listening to the song repeatedly in different forms brings the main song to completion in this EP. The fourth track has a Gregatron Mix – which is my favorite mix of this track. It’s just a really cool version. Of all the tracks on this EP, I recommend this track the most. Be sure to check it out!
The fifth and final song is what seems like the original. There’s no mix or anything. It’s just the singer with the lyrics to the same song in, “Even in the dead of night, there’s never been a morning where the sun don’t rise.” All in all, the EP is a good one. I may have wished for more variety, but it’s a good album if you love this song, and also, We Are Messengers.
