GMA Dove-nominated singer-songwriter Seph Schlueter has just scored his third leader on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart as his song “Won’t Start Now”, a promotional single released off of his major label debut Counting My Blessings (2025), rises up 2-1 on the chart.
The Christian Airplay chart, compiled by Nielsen BDS and published by Billboard, has been active since 2003, in tracking the most played songs on Christian radio in the United States. Schlueter’s hit marks only the second track to top the chart this year (excluding holiday traditionals and re-entries). “Won’t Start Now” is the third song of Schlueter’s to top the chart since his major label signing with Provident in 2023—previous hits of his include the RIAA gold-certified “Counting My Blessings”, which led the chart for four weeks in April 2024, and “Running Back to You”, which led the chart for five weeks in April 2025.
On the Christian Adult Contemporary chart, which measures spins on Christian radio set to the adult contemporary radio format, “Won’t Start Now” remains at its peak position of number 4. On the overall Hot Christian Songs chart, which tabulates the best-selling Christian songs based off of both radio impressions and digital audience, the song rises up 13-11 to reach its peak.
