Blood Falls – By Pam Thorson

What did Darren Imgalrea discover in Antarctica before he died?
When a research scientist is found murdered at the base of Blood Falls in Antarctica, Major Adriana “Jack” Caldas of nearby McMurdo Station must secure the scene for the authorities. Two FBI special agents from the Hawaii field office soon join the investigation and pull Caldas into a web of intrigue spanning three continents.

On the other side of the world, Italian firebrand Aemilius DeMatteo has risen to lead Europe out of a series of crises. From Brussels and his royal palace on the Temple Mount, this new savior plots to raise his own Star of Bethlehem over the nations.

On the run from assassins as her old world crumbles around her, what Caldas fears most is not the darkness falling over the earth, but the rapid and bewildering descent into her own soul.

I didn’t want the book to end.
Fantastic writing and perfect timing in this moment of history as we expectantly look up.

Highly recommended!
Blood Falls is a great read, combining impeccable research with compelling characters, while illustrating end time truth and events in a way that is both sobering and filled with the hope of the Gospel.

I LOVED BLOOD FALLS!
Thorson has crafted a very believable apocalyptic tale that had me scrutinizing news stories and current-day catchphrases. She successfully mixes intrigue, natural calamity, and character struggles with Biblical teachings on the end-times. Blood Falls is a fast-paced, hard-to-put-down story.

Intriguing plot twist
The author’s passion for the theme and plotting pulled me along, made me eager to return to the story. Good character development. I followed the fascinating switch from Antarctica to Israel settings and each story line with interest, caring what happened to the people involved.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book!
I’m usually hesitant to read end times fiction…so I approached Blood Falls with a measure of caution. Its mystery/thriller tone grabbed me from the first chapter.
