Josiah Queen’s “Demons” Makes Biggest Christian Chart Debut of 2026

Six-time GMA Dove nominee Josiah Queen has launched into 2026 with his latest single, “Demons”, which has just become the biggest Christian song chart debut of 2026.

“Demons” begins its opening frame today, debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart, which tabulates the best-selling Christian songs weekly in the United States, based off of Airplay, Digital Sales, and Streaming data according to Luminate and Neilsen BDS.  Similarly for Rock and Alternative music, the song debuts at No. 16 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, demonstrating significant mainstream impact for Queen.

Supportively, “Demons” is appearing at Nos. 3 and 2 on the Christian Streaming Songs and Christian Digital Song Sales, respectively.  On the all-genre Digital Song Sales chart, Queen’s song appears at No. 14.  On the all-genre Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, which measures the twenty-five best-selling songs by week in the United States to have not yet entered the overall Hot 100 chart, “Demons” bows in at No. 7.  The song’s success is not exclusive to the United States—on Recorded Music New Zealand’s Hot 40 Singles chart, the song appears at No. 29, marking Queen’s first entry into a secular international chart as a solo musician.

Becoming a prominent breakout single within its first week,  “Demons” has already become the highest Christian song chart debut of 2026, and the highest since Forrest Frank and The Figs’ “Lemonade”, which debuted at No. 2 i on the Hot Christian Songs chart in August 2025.  Concurrently, the song has become Queen’s biggest song debut of his career.
