Whether it’s a dream that isn’t coming true, a stretch of the journey that feels especially dark, or just the basic “busy and tired” each of us braves in the crazy chaos of the ordinary, have you ever faced a season where “life to the full” feels just out of reach, light seems like it it’s just over the horizon, or lies seem to crowd out the truth? If you’re anything like Ellie Holcomb, the answer is yes. For her in these seasons, God’s Word has been a shelter, a comfort, a song, a balm, and an anchor. Ultimately, it’s been a light that has helped kick back at the darkness of the lies we so often believe.
In her debut devotional, Fighting Words, you are invited to come alongside Ellie, as you ponder the power of God’s promises together and speak them into the darkest corners of your soul. Filled with encouraging and honest reflections, beautifully designed Scripture memory chapters, and wonderful questions to help you process, Fighting Words is a place where you can wrestle, respond to, and take hold of precious truths in God’s Word to help you push back the lies that so often consume, distract, and destroy us. God’s Word is alive.
In this devotional, Ellie invites you to steep your soul in the living Word, take hold of it, wrestle with it, bury it in your heart, and watch as it brings about life and flourishing. As you journey along with Ellie, you’ll find that little by little, you’re fighting the lies with the truth, kicking back the darkness, and living in the light.

Finding God’s Life for My Will
His Presence Is the Plan
ByMike Donehey
ECPA best seller
The lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist for award-winning contemporary Christian band Tenth Avenue North shows listeners that by seeking God first and focusing on serving him, we can live daily in his will.
“Perhaps God isn’t giving me the plan because He wants to be the plan.”
This was the aha moment for Mike Donehey after years of wrestling with his obsession to know God’s specific plans for his life. He came to the realization that waiting for absolute certainty from God before making decisions may seem uberspiritual, but it can lead to a life of intense stress, paralyzing fear, and crushing regret – just the opposite of the freedom granted to those living a Christ-filled life.
“This is my story…how I gave up begging to know God’s will and began to ask His life to come and change my will.”
With his signature humor and relentless hunger for God, Mike will show you that discovering the Father’s purpose and plan for our lives is not the shell game that we all too often make it out to be. If you’re unsure what to do next, take heart and accept the ultimate invitation: Learn to see God as the plan, not simply the formula to the plan.

I, Jesus: An Autobiography
ByChuck W. Missler,
William P. Welty
Many people who knew Jesus understood him well enough to admire him, to respect him, and to love him. Others were terrified of him. Some of his own relatives said he was out of his mind. But the politically and religiously intolerant leaders of first-century Israel hated him. So they murdered him. But that wasn’t the end of the story. Not by a long shot.
Today, more than 20 centuries later, respected Bible scholars Dr. Charles Missler and Dr. William Welty bring Jesus of Nazareth to you in the most unconventional way possible…by bringing Jesus of Nazareth to talk in his very own words about himself, his purpose, his nature, and his mission.
By the time you’ve finished listening to I, Jesus: an Autobiography, you’ll have learned why this rabbi from Nazareth rose from literal obscurity – as well as from the grave – to change the very course of history.

Heaven
ByJoni Eareckson Tada
For the past 25 years, Heaven has inspired us to live well on Earth even as we long for eternity. Drawing on Scripture, Joni Eareckson Tada answers the deepest questions of our hearts about what heaven will be like, who we will see there, and who we will be there.
This updated and expanded edition of Joni’s classic brings a new understanding of what heaven is, along with new mysteries and hopes. Now in her late 60s, Joni is much closer to heaven than she was when she first wrote the book in her mid-40s. And she says, “I will soon – soon! – hear His voice, look into His eyes, and feel His embrace. And He will say, ‘Welcome home, Joni.’” It is from this vantage point that Joni now speaks about how we can live for Jesus as we look forward to our real home.
As a quadriplegic for 50 years, Joni has also endured cancer and extreme ongoing pain. She doesn’t speak lightly when she reminds us that, “God knows the precise tools to use in your life to cut, facet, cleanse, and refine the diamond that is your eternal soul…. Every good thing that God has ever given you will last for all eternity – including the best part of every affliction.”

Breadcrumbs
A Collection of Devotions for the Journey Home
By Jared Bayless
As we grow in our wisdom and journey down the path to our final destination to be with Jesus, we leave breadcrumbs for those who will come after us. When we’ve found the narrow road, we leave breadcrumbs for the generations who will follow behind us and get distracted by the world and all its charms as it tries to distract and detour them away from righteousness.
We leave breadcrumbs for those who wonder if they even know where the path is anymore. As believers, we guide each other home. We look for the breadcrumbs of generations past, of the leaders who gave their lives for the gospel. We see the breadcrumbs and take heart. Other paths lead to death, but we have found the only path that will lead us out.
These are my breadcrumbs for anyone who needs to find Jesus again or who needs reminded to never give up and keep walking, even when it feels like you can’t take another step.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — For rising artist Carly Ann Taylor, inspiration has often come from seeing God through the challenges she’s faced. This was true of her debut EP Changing My Story, and is again the case with her new Matthew 6-based single “Why Should I Worry” available today (November 15) on all streaming platforms.
Produced by David Cook (Phil Wickham, Forrest Frank, Tate McRae), “Why Should I Worry” marks a new season for Carly Ann. After graduating from college, she battled self-doubt and depression, questioning what she was supposed to do next with her life and career. Through the support and encouragement of her family—especially her mom—she sought in Scripture for comfort and guidance.
“I was reading in Matthew 6 about how God is taking care of us,” Carly Ann said. “If he takes care of the birds and the lilies, why would we question our value?”
With that scripture in mind, she sat down at the piano. Organically, “Why Should I Worry” started coming to life.
“I was writing ‘Why Should I Worry’ with my little sister at the piano with me, and I felt like I was speaking to her,” Carly Ann said. “I was looking at her as a little child—without worry or fear, enjoying life—but knowing one day she’ll come to be with worries. I started thinking about what I would want to say to her.”
Although God was speaking to Carly Ann as she was writing “Why Should I Worry” she knew that the song would also be a way for other people to know that God sees and cares about them.
“I pray that this song is something all generations can declare over their lives,” Carly Ann said. “It was born from a really heavy worry about my future, and I pray people can resonate with it.”
Carly Ann hopes that “Why Should I Worry” brings direction to those struggling with anxiety, and the song becomes a reminder of who God is.
Featuring soaring gospel vocals and catchy melodies, the song draws inspiration from R&B artists like Alicia Keys and Tori Kelly. Carly Ann’s powerful vocals are what drew listeners into her debut EP Changing My Story released on April 19. The six-track record vividly tells Carly Ann’s story of encountering Jesus. It’s available on all streaming platforms here.
More new music from Carly Ann is set to be released in 2025. Until then, follow @CarlyIsMusic on Instagram and TikTok to stay up-to-date on future projects.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — Top-charting Christian rock artist Matt Sassano with his latest foray into stigmatized subjects. “Violated” seeks to amplify and dignify the experiences of those who have survived sexual abuse and trafficking. The song is streaming everywhere at https://offstep.link/449386378502.
“I resonate with it as someone who hasn’t gone through that kind of abuse but really empathizes with any kind of abuse that people go through,” shares Matt Sassano, whose last single “Happy Family” uncovered his own experience of growing up in a home with domestic violence.
Always digging deep as a songwriter, Sassano was committed to doing the subject of human trafficking justice. He says, “I’ve been working with Mary Nikkel of The Exodus Road, who works with survivors directly. She educated me on a whole host of issues leading up to this release. Often when you think about trafficking, you get the Hollywood version in your mind: Liam Neeson and Taken, someone swept in a van and never heard from again. Although those cases do happen, it’s usually actually a friend or a family member or a loved one manipulating someone into slavery of some sort.”
To bring the song’s empowering tone to life, Matt Sassano collaborated with producer Josiah Prince (Disciple). “Violated” was mixed and mastered by Kevin Jackson, who Sassano worked closely with for “Happy Family.” With a strong team behind it, “Violated” is a worthy successor to Matt Sassano’s uninterrupted string of #1 tracks at rock radio, a list that has included “Fuel,” “Dear God” and “Not My Name.”
“Rather than focus on the victimization of these people, we wanted to focus on survivor stories,” Matt Sassano says earnestly. “Everything that we did was to honor their stories, from the artwork to the lyrics. It was all carefully crafted.”
According to the United Nations, “trafficking occurs when a trafficker uses force, fraud or coercion to control another person for the purpose of engaging in commercial sex acts or soliciting labor or services against his/her will. Force, fraud, or coercion need not be present if the individual engaging in commercial sex is under 18 years of age.”
If you think that you or someone you love might be experiencing trafficking, call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 or chat live at humantraffickinghotline.org/en/chat. To learn more about trafficking and get involved in stopping it, visit theexodusroad.com.
