“We’re so excited to welcome talented individuals from across this beautiful, diverse family of faith-based rock and metal,” the Grizzly Awards cofounders share. “Every performance is truly of the highest caliber. We have a few special segments that will hopefully be both meaningful and fun. And we can’t wait to see the community that we know will be engaging in the comments! Every one of you is a part of the night too.”

In addition to performances and other special features, the evening will include winner announcements for categories honoring 2022 releases. • February 15, 2023 (McAlester, Oklahoma) —– After the first successful album release of Estella Kirk’s music, she now presents her new sophomore album Running on low this Friday. The project will feature five new songs, along with four popular songs from her previous project. Kirk will release one song every Friday for the next nine weeks that will total her full album on April 14, and will include her second music video on that date. The message of her new album is about knowing God, and how He is always there with every step of life’s journey. Living with her faith is very important to Kirk’s music and fans, who will be able to get the music at all major streaming platforms, and on Kirk’s website.

“Running on low’ is such an important album to me, because there are many personal stories and songs that I believe God laid on my heart to share,’ said Kirk. ‘I hope everyone can connect with the songs and messages, and come to love the project as much as I do.”

Kirk’s music career began at the tender age of 14, and she immediately received strong reviews from such outlets as Aleteia.org, “At just 14years old, Kirk has delivered a product that can stand up next to any of her contemporaries on the Billboard charts.” Now at 17 years old, Kirk continues to deliver strong vocals with mature messaging. One of her latest singles, “Someone I’m not,” is about the burden of always trying to be perfect. With the struggles of perfection, the song focuses on comparing yourself to other people and it gives a feeling of not getting ahead in life. As Kirk says, “God brings us the bright side of hope, with a comfort that has finally arrived.”

    About Estella Kirk
Estella Kirk was raised in McAlester, Oklahoma and still resides in her home town. She started her entertainment career at a high level at seven years old, with such outlets as Harpers Bazaar, New York Fashion Week, and the Cannes Fashion Festival. Shortly after that success, Kirk began her acting debut with Nancy Vuu’s film “Unto Me” that gave Kirk the Young Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival in France. Additional acting rolls led to more films, “Keep the Change,” “Pretty Outrageous,” and “Clockmaker.” However, Christian music became Kirk’s passion, which defiantly shows in her music.

Kirk released her first album on July 2, 2020, but the rough times didn’t damper her success with her hopeful message from God. The first song, “Shelter in The Storm” was followed by “Eyes on You,” and the interviews started coming in at “The Christian Beat,” “PR Underground”, “ABNewswire,”, “The Oklahoman”, “Hallels”, “Aleteia”, Tulsa World”, among many others. And now Kirk will release her new project, Running on low that releases this Friday.

The program, which shares the couples journey through Scott’s blindness and two kidney transplants, debuted in October 2020 on UpTV, NRB and WSMV-TV in Nashville. The audience has now greatly expanded, thanks to multiple airings on new stations and networks each month. The program was produced by Dove Awards veteran, Steve Gilreath, with the MacIntyre’s, Steve and Jackie Green as executive producers. Scott and Christina’s purpose for the project is to help people find hope in the midst of hardship. Its music and message continue to resonate with people worldwide, and will proceed to expand even further with five airings this month. These markets, Oklahoma City OK, Lancaster PA, Norfolk VA, Charlotte NC and Nashville TN, are slating to air March 25 – 26, 2023, immediately following Saturday Night Live. The program is also available online and on Demand.

“We are so grateful to witness our songs and story changing lives,” Scott said. “My favorite part of the process is hearing from people who happen to catch the program during a difficult time, when they really need encouragement, and they find new hope to press on.”

Continuing to increase their output of hope for the nation and beyond, Scott and Christina have launched their weekly Enduring Hope devotional podcast that is reaching 40 countries. It can be heard on Apple, Spotify, Audible, etc. They’ve also pioneered a music mentoring retreat for the blind called SongSight which had its first iteration in November 2022. It was a three-day event with masterclasses, songwriting and instrument experimentation, culminating in the attendees recording an original song together that was released online. It gave the participants the opportunity to explore their potential and to experience the life changing power of music.

One of the attendees, Greg Lindberg, shares in a blog post, “I was completely in awe of my SongSight experience. It totally exceeded my expectations.”

The future holds exciting opportunities for Scott and Christina’s ministry, including visiting public and private schools around the country to encourage the next generation. Scott is also releasing new music every few weeks, with two singles released so far this year being a rap collaboration called “Believe Again” and his latest entitled “We Will Serve the Lord.”

Music and more information is available at Scott MacIntyre’s website, Facebook and Spotify.

    About Scott MacIntyre
From his early days as a classical concert pianist who captured the hearts of millions of American Idol viewers, Scott MacIntyre has never let challenges keep him from achieving his dreams. Blind from birth and a two-time kidney transplant recipient, he knows what it means to persevere despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles.

Scott was first diagnosed with stage-four kidney failure at nineteen years old, and after almost a year on dialysis, his college piano teacher’s wife donated her kidney to Scott and saved his life. Less than a year later, he auditioned for American Idol.

That kidney transplant lasted for eight years, then in September 2014, Scott was put back on the transplant waiting list for a deceased-donor kidney. Several months later, an anonymous living donor stepped forward and offered to undergo compatibility testing after hearing about Scott’s need on the radio. In June 2015, Scott underwent his second successful kidney transplant and has since made a full recovery.

Thanks to his two kidney donors, Scott and his wife Christina are the parents of two children – Christian and Stella. In order to pass on the hope they have been given, the couple started “Scott MacIntyre Ministries,” a department of the non-profit Artists in Christian Testimony Intl, to change lives through music and help others find hope in the midst of hardship.

Scott has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Regis and Kelly, the Today Show, Canada AM, Larry King Live, Huckabee, and many other programs.
