  • FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — On October 28, Fuel4Soul’s Beth Hall released “Send Down the Fire,” a powerful reminder of God’s presence. The song is the singer’s first solo release, and is available on all major streaming platforms now.

“‘Send Down the Fire’ was inspired by a conversation I had about how it must have been an amazing sight to see when God proclaimed his presence as the one true God, when He sent down fire from heaven to the altar, when Elijah’s faith and confidence in God showed proof to others that his God was the only true living God,” Beth says of the song’s origins. “I think ‘Send Down The Fire’ symbolizes the guiding presence of God among the people, proof that God’s presence still remains.”

The song was written this summer by Beth and her husband and Fuel4Soul bandmate Michael Hall. It’s being released on their independent label, True Purpose Records. Michael also produced the song, tuning it to Beth’s vision.

“While we all were writing and creating music for my band Fuel4Soul, Michael and I were also writing and creating even more God-inspired rock on our own. It seemed God was filling our minds with inspiration to write and share His message with others,” Beth explains.

For her solo music, Beth brings a classic rock sound to the table that is both nostalgic and earnest. A rock sound that harkens back to the 90s and 00s is anchored by Beth’s fresh, current vocal stylings. She says, “I try to take inspiration from all types of music and put my own unique twist on it. I have always had a passion for singing and writing from a very young age, and it seems I always have room to create as much as God allows me to be able to.”

The solo single “Send Down the Fire” follows up a year that’s seen Fuel4Soul, which Beth’s voice co-leads, rocketing up the Christian rock charts with their song “Keep the Faith.” Continuing to be creatively prolific, Beth has plans for a full solo EP soon.

Whether it’s with her solo work or Fuel4Soul, Beth says that her mission is the same: “My goal is to bring others to Christ Jesus by sharing His word through music.”

You can find “Send Down the Fire” on Apple Music, Amazon Music and Spotify. Learn more about Beth on Facebook and YouTube.

  • Christian rock band Fuel4Soul’s lead singer Gary Caserta has released his first solo single, a soulful song titled “He Is.” The song is streaming now, and going for adds at Christian rock radio, where it is already impacting the charts.

“The song is about my love for our Maker, how our Lord is everything to me,” Caserta shares about “He Is.” “I will never stop getting the guidance I need from Him.”

“He Is” will not be the first time Gary Caserta’s raw, grunge-inspired voice has impacted the charts. As the lead singer of Fuel4Soul, Gary’s vocals were part of propelling their song “Keep the Faith” into the top 25 of CMW’s Christian rock charts. Even as Fuel4Soul continues their momentum as one of Christian rock’s rising bands to watch, Gary’s creativity is finding additional outlets in his solo work.

“Pursuing a solo career is something I’ve been wanting to do for years,” he explains. “I have sung in many bands dating all the way back in the early 90s. It was a goal of mine to do a solo project, especially with lots of songs I have written in the past and done nothing with.”

Those songs encompass Gary’s diverse musical influences, which range from Led Zeppelin to Def Leppard to Stryper. He says, “I am pursuing a mixed rock sound for my solo career. It can be hard rock at times, alternative rock, even soft rock. I like to use different sound effects in my music to change everything up.”

Gary himself has often been compared to Chris Cornell as a vocalist, equipped with a similar passionate grunge tone. That tone carries “He Is,” lending it a raw urgency that emphasizes the song’s message.

You can stream “He Is” on Spotify and Apple Music now, as well as finding the lyric video on YouTube.

  • FOR RELEASE SEPT 30, 2022 — Christian rock mainstay Kutless has released a fiery statement of faith with their new single “Words of Fire,” available on all major streaming platforms as of September 30. You can find the song at https://kutless.ffm.to/fire.

“The song ‘Words of Fire’ was inspired by the story of the Two Witnesses in Revelation chapter 11,” guitarist James Mead shares. “Around the time I wrote this song, there just seemed to be so many things that were causing tension. In my home city of Portland Oregon, there was a series of riots that lasted for several months. Then the world shut down from a pandemic. We have mourned the losses of several more horrible mass shootings.”

The song was born from Mead’s convicted sense of urgency in how to respond to widespread unrest: “When I read the story of the Two Witnesses, I can just picture a world that wants to stop them from spreading the truth. It’s an anthem for those that will continue to rise up and be bold and share their faith. The dead come back to life.”

“But after the three and a half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them.”
    — Revelation 11:11 NIV

Sonically, “Words of Fire” blazes a path through the airwaves with an intensity that matches the message. A true return to form for a band that has always been based in rock and roll, the towering guitars and scorching melodies offer Kutless’s heaviest sound yet.

“We really took a hard look at what we wanted Kutless to look like moving forward,” lead singer Jon Micah Sumrall earnestly confesses. “We didn’t want to keep fighting the music industry ‘game.’ We just wanted to make music that we enjoyed. So we really got back to just making music, not worrying about radio or charts, and this brought us back to our rock roots.”

“Words of Fire” is the immediate follow-up to the retrospective EP Twenty, a collection of reimagined versions of three Kutless classics, released in honor of their debut album’s 20 year anniversary. That EP served to remind listeners of Kutless’s foundation, priming them for what’s to come with “Words of Fire” and the songs that will follow after.

“This first song is just a glimpse of what’s still to come,” Sumrall hints. “We are excited for this next chapter as we keep creating new music!”
